Throughout most of the year, Tuesday nights are cribbage nights.  Whatever your level of experience, please feel free to come down and join in.  You will be made to feel more than welcome, and if you are a beginner there is always someone willing to teach you the basics of the game.
During the winter months, we alternate “crib” with our quiz night.  This is extremely popular, and only costs a pound per person.  Teams are usually made up of four, but can be a maximum of six.  Entrance money provides the “prize fund” for the end of the evening, which is shared between the winning teams.  You won’t make your fortune, but you will have an enjoyable and sociable evening!
We run a golf society club and are always looking for new members.
The pub sometimes books live bands and we have also been known to have the occasional karaoke night as well.
The “Boxing Day Stroll” sees many of our local regulars walking the village from door to door (and pub to pub!) carol singing, and collecting money towards the annual Christmas dinner for the elderly residents of the village.  They always welcome new faces, so if you feel in need of a bit of gentle post-Christmas exercise, you know where to come.
The annual Braishfield School Summer Fayre is a popular fixture in the village calendar.  We have fielded a Tug of War team for the past three years, and are extremely proud to say that we have been triumphant on each occasion.
