The Dog & Crook, one of the three pubs in braishfield, has had various looks over the years starting with traditional thatch, but after the last fire, the pub was completly rebuilt. Relax in the garden or in the shade in our new gazebo. If you are looking for food in Braishfield, or are looking to eat out in Romsey, we are easy to find just at the bottom of Crook Hill

After the horrific damage caused by the fire in April 1955 the Dog and
Crook was re-built from scratch. Although it no longer possesses a thatched
roof, the beautiful and traditional country style has been maintained.

The new owners, Miriam Bevan and Alan Arthur, along with the friendly
team members, would like to invite you to dine in the newly refurbished
restaurant, with separate dining area. Or just stop by for a drink and get cosy
by the open log fire.

We serve wholesome, traditional home cooked meals and offer lunchtime
specials of 2 courses for £6.95 or 3 courses for £9.50. We also have a varied menu,
a selection of specials on the board for evening dining and we serve mouth-watering,
traditional Sunday roasts.
There is a variety of real ales, bottled and draught beers and ciders. Also
selections of fine wines are available.

The pub holds special events such as live music nights, quiz nights,
occasional karaoke and has its very own Golf Society Club, which you are
welcome to join.

We are situated in the pleasant village of Braishfield, near to the beautiful
Hillier Gardens.

We would like to offer to new customers a free glass of wine or pint of beer
when you dine with us (please see special offers page).

We look forward to welcoming you soon.
